Whether you’re snuggled up in a chair in the lounge or enjoying a fulfilling meal around the table in the kitchen diner, it’s easy to relax here. The interiors reflect the rural position of the property, with tranquil neutrals and homely features dotted throughout. On warm days, head out to the patio area with seating, offering an ideal space for al fresco dining. If the weather isn’t so good, the dining area provides a homely place for you to have a meal while looking out at the pretty views through the attractive wooden windows.

Walk the South West Coast Path from Wembury Beach (2 miles) to the former HMS Cambridge, absorbing some stunning sea views along the way. Wembury Marine Centre is located just before the beach and is a great place to learn about the wildlife in the area. Pop to Newton Ferrers (7 miles) with its vibrant harbour and watch the boats bob to and fro over a drink. If you crave some city living, drive to Plymouth (7 miles), where you’ll find plenty of high street shops and restaurants. Make sure to visit the historic Barbican area while you’re here too.
