Delight in the open-plan living space, with a well-equipped kitchen and a convenient relaxed dining area where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast before starting your day. Use the sitting area as your base for relaxing and unwinding of an evening or take a refreshing drink out to the large, enclosed terrace and enjoy the simply outstanding views across the countryside and harbour.

    The whole space has been very well through out. The fixtures and fittings are finished to a high standard. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, as is the whole house, and the treats left for us were a very tasty and thoughtful touch. The living space is great for casual entertaining, and suits all ages. The little nook proved useful for the annoying (and inevitable) unfinished bits of work. Although we didn’t venture out much due to poor weather, the outside space was great for the smalls of our group to get a bit of fresh air between downpours, and we imagine would be fabulous during the summer. As mentioned by another reviewer, we had no mobile service and I would recommend that before arrival any documents be made available offline to help speed up initial entry. Once connected, the WiFi was more than adequate. Huge thank you to Wendy and Jamie for the great communication, too. I hope all your guest enjoy their stay as much as we did ours.

    Well equipped. Comfortably warm (essential for late October holiday). Lovely views. Very accommodating owners who lived next door. Ship Inn and The Swan provide great meals nearby, though we did most of our own catering. Highly recommended.

    The bedroom configuration options meant we could have 3 double bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Always a tricky thing to find. The property was spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. We were blessed with good weather, and the bi-fold doors were fabulous, allowing the outside in, and connecting the outside space to the open plan living area. The office area was an unexpected bonus, as one of the party could continue working from home at times (he is self-employed, I hasten to add!) We didn't venture far, and found the village to be very peaceful, with friendly inhabitants.
