Minster Cottage was an original Victorian cottage connected with the historic Wimborne Minster and dates from 1880. Moving through the property, the kitchen/diner is sure to be the social hub throughout your stay, boasting a welcoming woodburning stove to take the chill off the open-plan space. Guests will also benefit from a twin room with exposed brick walls, and another single room, ideal for younger guests. Two bathrooms serve the property; the first is home to a bath, basin and WC; and the second is a ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC, so there is ample room for the whole group to prepare for the day ahead. Outside, the cottage boasts a beautiful and sought-after garden space; home to a pretty summerhouse, as well as a decked area and a patio with furniture, where you can take your dining outside in the evenings, or perhaps just savour your morning coffee in the summer sun. Treat yourself to a meal out in one of the local eateries such as The Olive Branch, or grab a bite from Le Petit Prince bakery, whilst Deans Court Café provides a lovely treat for morning coffee, lunches and afternoon tea! For days out while at the property, the Wimborne Model Town is a popular attraction among tourists, presenting a tenth scale model of Wimborne town complete with the magnificent Wimborne Minster. You can also visit the glorious Minster one afternoon and indulge in the rich cultural history and architecture the town has to offer. A short and scenic car journey will take you to the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Cranborne Chase; known for its unspoilt scenery and walking paths for varying abilities, the area is a lovely day of exploring for the whole family. While you are in the area, why not visit Cranborne Manor and Garden Centre, home to an ancient manor house and delightful gardens, the estate hosts a wealth of local walks around an abundance of greenery.
