A cobbled quay leads down to the water’s edge where local fishing boats offload their daily catch. The ancient Saturday charter market lines the High Street each week and is a must visit, with its vast selection of stalls and crafts. The Lymington sea water baths, with inflatable course and kayak/paddle board hire, is close by, and for a more energetic walk or cycle, continue along the sea wall and enjoy the views across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight. The beautiful New Forest National Park is within a 10 minute drive with miles of heathland to explore - enjoy walking, cycling or horse riding amongst the free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys.
