The overall holiday experience was excellent. The cottage was exactly as described and suited our requirements but was a little letdown by a couple of issues mainly in the cleaning and care departments. Under one bed was a dried up apple core. Below one hand wash basin cobwebs etc. The grass required cutting and many rotting apple made it messy for our grandchildren to run and play on. Overall certainly a good 4 star.

      Characterful, comfortable cottage.

Awkward layout especially on First Floor. Inadequate lighting in kitchen. Sadly, marred by finding dog dirt in drive & masonry nails also in drive, one of which punctured a tyre on my car. Also found a chipped drinking glass in kitchen cupboard.
