Rose Cottage is a charming countryside cottage, that can be found nestled in the hamlet of Upton near the picture-perfect Ringstead Bay. Sitting peacefully on the Jurassic Coast, this delightful dwelling provides a fabulous base for families or groups of eight who wish to explore the magnificent Jurassic Coast. Enter into the warm embrace of the hallway and take off your coats and shoes before heading into the snug sitting room boasting character from its traditional exposed brick fireplace and woodburning stove. Make yourself at home as you curl up into one of the pretty armchairs with a book from the shelf or relax into the plush sofa, turning on the television to browse the channels to find your favourite show. Wander through to the spacious farmhouse kitchen and discover a large assortment of well-though appliances, including a striking range cooker where you can prepare tasty meals as the rest of the group socialise around the beautiful kitchen island. Gather at the dining table and feast upon your lovingly prepared meal, as you discuss your plans for the duration of your stay and share your highlights of the holiday so far. You can retire to the first floor, where you will be greeted by a selection of homely rooms. Stay in the king-size bedroom with large patio doors that look out to the luscious green countryside, as well as having the benefit of an en-suite shower room where you can relax as you get ready for the day ahead; this bedroom also has stairs leading up to a mezzanine room, the perfect place for the children to play as you while away the hour with a soak in the luxurious free-standing bath located in the tranquil family bathroom. A further two bedrooms consist of both a double and a twin, each featuring striking exposed stone walls and feature fireplaces. Head outside to the well-kept garden where you can bask in the sunshine on a sunny day and watch as the children play happily on the lawn. Spend your days on scenic walks along the South West Coast Path, stopping off at Bowleaze Cove and Weymouth Beach along the way. Close to home, you can explore the grounds of Jordan Hill Roman Temple or visit the astonishing Osmington White Horse, before enjoying an afternoon on the National Trust owned Ringstead Bay or taking the children to the exciting Fantasy Island Amusement Park. Grab a pint with the locals at the charming Smuggler's Inn before making your way back to the comfort of your holiday cottage for an evening indoors. Be sure to book Rose Cottage for a group holiday like no other. In the garden is another holiday let, ref 987459 (Apple Tree Cottage), with walkway around the perimeter of the garden. The cottage in the garden can be booked too, together sleeping up to 10 guests.

The village of Preston can be found resting happily on the unspoilt Jurassic Coast. Home to vibrant pubs and bars, tasty local eateries and a fully-stocked convenience store providing all the household essentials, this village has everything you could ever need during your stay. Explore the pebbled landscape of the National Trust owned Ringstead Bay, or head into Weymouth to wander the tunnels of the Victorian Nothe Fort.
