Moortown is a small settlement located just outside Tavistock, Devon, in Dartmoor National Park. Pew Tor has stunning views of the countryside, and Windy Post Granite Cross is a great place to take a walk. If you're in the mood for something a little more substantial, head to Tavistock, which has a wide variety of eateries to choose from. Tavistock also has a Grade I-listed church as well as the largest outdoor market in the United Kingdom, the Tavistock Pannier Market. Plymouth, the port city, is nearby and is a lovely region with a lot to see and do. Including Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park, where you can enjoy a day out in the beautiful surroundings. If you're looking for a spot to unwind on a sunny day, Jennycliff Beach is the place for you.
