The rental property is private, and perfectly positioned on an incredibly peaceful smallholding. But being on the edge of a small village it was only a short walk to the local pub which serves really good food. Being able to watch the local wildlife on the tv screen was a real treat. We had a delicious welcome pack. Although compact the accommodation had everything we needed. We can't wait to go back.

The cottage is just far enough off the beaten path that you feel 'away' but you are still close enough to be convenient. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching the video life-feed of the local wildlife.

There were fresh scones with clotted cream and jam when we arrived which were delicious. The views along the field and lake were just stunning and access to the camera traps to watch the wildlife up close was fantastic too! Our dog loved it too with so many lovely lanes to walk down and woodland treks to explore, it was amazing for all of us. The place is very well appointed and maintained and we had the best time there and visiting the surrounding area. We did manage to cook some simple meals on the 2 ring hob but there is also a very lovely pub up the lane. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Mike was on hand if we needed anything. We would love to come back again in the spring to watch nature come back to life. Lovely place and would certainly recommend:-)
