The super king bed and the warm, cosy atmosphere are frequently mentioned, making it an ideal base for exploring Shropshire.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers consistently mention the property being 'sparkling clean' and 'spotless', indicating a very high standard of cleanliness that guests are extremely satisfied with.

The property is lauded for its beautiful, rural setting and ideal location for walkers, with easy access to local pubs and towns. Some guests noted the lack of private footpaths directly from the property, but this did not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback about the location.

Guests find the property comfortable, particularly highlighting the huge, comfy bed and cosy atmosphere. A few guests mentioned the chairs could be more comfortable, but this was a minor point in otherwise glowing feedback about the property's comfort.

The property is well-equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances, though some guests suggested additional crockery and cutlery would be beneficial. There were also comments about the lack of a private garden and some confusion over the advertised facilities, which slightly impacted the overall satisfaction with the facilities and maintenance.

While the reviews reflect a high level of satisfaction with the property and the host's helpfulness, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of 'thoughtfulness'. Therefore, this score cannot be provided.

The cottage was a perfect space for two people and a dog and had everything we needed. The only thing I would say is that the road to and from the cottage is very muddy and without paths, so getting to and from places without a car was a bit tough. It was walkable but us and the dog got filthy in the process as it was a very rainy weekend and as there are no paths, you have to stand in mud to get out of the way of cars, but this isn’t the owners issue. My only issue with the property is that the dining table is collapsible, which made it a little rocky, so we had to be cautious when using it, but that was all. Would stay again!
