Clean, comfortable and cosy, beautiful views of surrounding countryside. Great area to walk our 2 dogs. Lots of wildlife to be seen in the surrounding woods. Alison very welcoming and helpful in directions of how to get around surrounding area as main road closed during our stay.

This beautiful self contained little lodge was absaloute bliss. The owner was lovely, welcoming and helpful but also left us to it. The property was well equipt, clean, cosy and warm and felt like a retreat, nessled in the wooded surroundings. Having a private woodland to walk around any time with our anxious, reactive dogs was a game changer. We spent New Years Eve there and listened to owls rather than fireworks (like it would have been at home) which was heaven and took the stress away from our dogs. Theres so much wonderful nature within the grounds but the location is also near to nature reserves, the coast and other attractions. Theres also Lidl 20 minuets away. Theres not much phone signal but the wifi was pretty reliable. we found the property easily with what 3 words. we would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a bit of peace and quiet, especially if you're a nature lover.
