Oozing charm and character, our lovely country house hotel sits in a desirable location close to the Dartmoor National Park. Originally built as a Grammar School in 1870 the building has undergone a substantial renovation and now offers both traditional styled rooms and contemporary suites. We also have a charming tea room, cosy bar and delightful dining room where we serve mouthwatering seasonal dishes complimented by a super wine list. There's nothing standard about our standard rooms! They're spacious and well appointed, comfortable and relaxing. Our superior rooms include a richly furnished four poster bed. In our Woodland Wing, we also have a range of modern and artfully decorated rooms and family suites. All rooms are en-suite and have well stocked beverage facilities and LCD televisions. Tasty breakfasts are served in our restaurant and cover all range of requirements.
