Very disappointed by this accommodation, extremely tired and was dirty when we arrived. It wasn’t cheap for 4 nights and definitely not worth the price. We had to clean the property for over an idea the day we arrived, we found lost property from previous guests and food left down the side of the chair. The deputy GM did come over to see us after we had complained to the booking agents and did give us some complimentary wine and offered for cleaners to do cleaning the following day. Cottages.com should not be marketing this property and showing the false marketing photos.

Enjoyed our stay despite not being able to use the spa due to boiler replacement taking place, which we weren't notified of.Couldn't work out heating controls, or find any instructions for them. Temp in bed 2 was only 14 degrees when we retired, but 20 degrees during day.Smoke detector in bedroom 2 had no battery in it and was hanging open.Getting to Totnes, Dartmouth park & ride and Blackpool Sands was effortless making property a great location. Golf course was a challenge enjoyed too. Would have liked something to eat in clubhouse afterwards, but kitchen closed 2pm - 6pm.
