Beautiful cottage in a lovely village, very well equipped. The village has a lovely cafe the River Shack by the river & a nice walk across to the other side when the tide is out. Two pubs with friendly staff, a well equipped shop & a local craft shop with some really interesting things in. Every where is very dog friendly. Very relaxing short break

The parking situation at Laurel Cottage was awful. Had to park a distance from the Cottage. When unloading, had a lot of aggravation from some of the locals. We realised that we had actually stayed there 22 years ago. One of our comments then was that it would have been nice to have blinds up at the kitchen window. All those years later, still no blinds! There is very little to do in Stoke Gabriel. The pubs only open the odd evening and then often just for drinks. We had to drive out whenever we wanted any food at lunchtime.

There were a few cleaning issues which I sorted out myself but other than that it was a lovely cottage in a pretty village.
