Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews consistently mention the property being beautifully renovated and immaculately presented, indicating a high level of cleanliness throughout the cottage.

The location is frequently described as stunning, peaceful, and ideal for coastal walks and visiting Dartmouth, suggesting a very high satisfaction with the location.

While the property is generally found to be comfortable and relaxing, multiple reviews cite the sofas as being too low and uncomfortable, especially for older guests, which affects the comfort score.

Facilities are praised as first-class, with special mentions of the garden and appliances. However, minor criticisms about the lack of instructions for ash disposal, ant issues, and a non-functional hoover slightly lower the score.

Guests are delighted by the thoughtful touches such as fresh vegetables, flowers, and sausages upon arrival. It should be noted that while these gifts are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Sadly Sykes cottages appallingly incompetent. I would only go back if they had nothing to do with it.

It was just as good as we remembered, with the exception of the sofas, which were just as uncomfortable! Other than that, we think the cottage has style and quality. It is wonderfully spacious, from the large hall with a big walk -in coats cupboard, to all the bedrooms. Even the bathrooms are roomy. In fact, it's rather a misnomer to call it a cottage at all. The garden is beautiful, still with lots of colour even in late September and we were disappointed to be unable to use it as much as last year because the weather was poor. But it is still a joy to look out on. Finally, the large variety of gorgeous home-grown vegetables, eggs and sausages which were there on our arrival and replenished the second week were like two Harvest Festivals!

We loved staying there! The beds are extremely comfy and the showers are amazing! The home grown vegetables was a lovely touch and we used nearly all of them. We have gorgeous weather so got to spend a lot of time in the beautiful garden. The owners must be very proud of this cottage as it’s stunning. Thank you
