Raleigh Court is a development of apartments on a Dartmouth side street just yards from the embankment and very close to the town's specialist shops, pubs and restaurants. Columbine is a third-floor apartment offering quick and easy access to the River Dart, ideal for watersports enthusiasts or those who simply want to enjoy peaceful surroundings.
From the ground floor, three flights of stairs take you to the property, where an open plan lounge / dining room has a comfortable sofa, armchairs, dining table and chairs, TV with Freeview and a DVD player. A bay window has a window seat and provides a partial view of the River Dart. At the other end of this open plan area is a modern, well equipped kitchen.
The main bedroom has a double bed and plenty of storage whilst the second bedroom has a double bed and similar storage space. The bathroom suite compromises of a bath with electric shower (over), wash basin and w.c. There is also a cloakroom with w.c and a hand basin.
. A parking permit is provided for the nearby Mayors Avenue car park for one car (subject to available spaces), offering guests easy access to beautiful Start Bay and the popular beach at Blackpool Sands, just a short drive away.
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
