Alternatively guests can enjoy the warmer weather outside on the patio area and admire the spectacular countryside views with a refreshing drink. The rural village of Black Dog has a lovely inn which serves food and there is an abundance of walks to enjoy with views of the Moors. Just a short drive away is the market town of Crediton, where visitors can explore farmers markets and a wide range of shops. Alternatively, Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks are roughly forty minutes away where visitors can walk, go horseriding or even stargaze! A wonderful cottage, Little Barn can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
A busy market town 8.5 miles north west of the cathedral city of Exeter. This is a rural area of Devon which is tranquil and unspoilt. There are many scattered villages with welcoming inns, well stocked farm shops and friendly locals. Crediton has a wide range of shops selling gifts and groceries, a farmers market, modern leisure centre and plenty of friendly pubs. Crediton is less than 10 miles from Dartmoor National Park which provides excellent walking and horse riding opportunities and a half hour drive from the beautiful city of Exeter where there are theatres, stunning cathedral, shopping malls, and historic quay with waterfront cafes, antique shops and bars.
