This wonderful escape is situated in an idyllic country setting on the edge of a small hamlet, complete with a country pub. Within 0.5 miles reach is Chimney Down Common, a perfect place for your four legged friends to let off steam. Centrally located within 12 miles of the towns of Bampton, Wiveliscombe, Wellington and Tiverton with independent shops, pubs and cafes. Walkers will be spoilt for choice as the local area encompasses the Blackdown Hills, Quantocks and Exmoor; all within 20 miles and offering a mixture of wild moorland with lush, deep, wooded valleys and pretty villages to enjoy on foot, car, or bike. Wimbleball Lake is 16 miles and offers water sports, fishing, bird watching and nature trails. For a day on the beach, explore the North Devon coastline with its small coves and sandy beaches, or Minehead on the Somerset coast there are many beaches to explore within a 30 mile drive. French doors open onto a private decked area that enjoys panoramic countryside views, a perfect place for a peaceful break away. Head into the lounge and settle in for a snug evening with a bottle of wine and a film on the smart TV in front of the wood burner. The perfectly equipped kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, it is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. Head to the beautiful king size bedroom and sleep tight after exploring the wonderful countryside. Completing the accommodation is an immaculate bathroom with a bath, separate shower and a WC. Outside there is an enclosed garden with a decked area that enjoys stunning countryside views. Guests will find a table and chairs and a fire pit where a spot of al fresco dining and a glass of wine under the star filled skies can be enjoyed.
