About this Holiday House
This charming house is a conversion of a former water mill, and now provides a homely environment for up to 6 holidaymakers looking to explore the historic village of Bampton.
Inside
The Mill House boasts a large, modern kitchen area equipped with every appliance you could wish to use during your stay. This includes a fridge, freezer, oven & hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Cookware such as toaster, kettle and kettle are also included.
The sitting room is home to a Freeview TV and DVD player, perfect for cosy evenings in next to the wood- burner (one basket of logs are supplied, however more can be bought at the local hardware store.) Free WiFi.
Bedrooms / Bathrooms
There is enough space for all your family and friends in the 3 delightful bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms are fitted with an en- suite bathroom. There are two double rooms and a twin room.
Outside
Spend your summer evenings dining on the picnic bench on the paved courtyard that is situated at the rear of Mill House.
Other Things to Note
A maximum of 2 dogs are welcome to join their owners at Mill House, for as fee of £25 to cover cleaning costs. Strictly non- smoking. Arrivals after 4pm, departure by 10am.
Other items provided for your stay are tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and sugar, as well as various cleaning materials such as dishwasher powder, washing up liquid and a few toilet rolls. All bed linen and duvets are also provided, however please provide your own towels for daytrips.
Secure parking for 2 cars on the driveways to the front and side of the house.
If you require a high chair or a cot, please notify us when booking, in order for it to be arranged. Please bring your own bed linen for the cot.
Availability
This property is available for both week long breaks (peak time) and shorter breaks of 3 or 4 nights during off-peak periods.
Around and About
The historic village of Bampton is just a mile from the house (5 minutes drive,) with an impressive high street of pubs, restaurants, late night supermarket, chemist, post office and greengrocer.
Exmoor National Park, the Grand Western Canal Country park and Wimbleball Lake are close to Bampton, and are popular with tourists looking to explore the area.
