As the night draws in, retire to the warmth of the open fire in the chic sitting room; sink into the leather sofas and choose a film to watch on the Smart TV, or bring your family-favourite games to challenge your loved ones to a friendly competition. Freshen up after a fun-filled day at the beach in the family shower room, before venturing out for the evening. You'll find plenty of popular restaurants, pubs and boutiques in the village of Rock, with plenty of coastal adventures within easy reach; use the back country lanes to marvel at the scenery, escape the crowds and perhaps explore the lesser visited Lundy Bay at low tide, or walk from the Lead Mines car park beyond Polzeath up to Pentire Point. From here you can revel in the panoramic views out to sea, taking in the mouth of the Camel Estuary to one side and scanning around to the more rugged coastline as it stretches north. The South West Coastal Path follows all the way along here, meaning you can join whichever stretch you like according to walking ability. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the St Enodoc Golf Course, which is just a few minutes down the road from Threthias, with a vast golf course boasting some of the most stunning coastal views. If you prefer a slower pace, the calm shores of Daymer Bay are nearby where the historic and beautiful St. Enodoc Church sits. Trethias is a peaceful base in a central location to explore Cornwall's fantastic coastline.

Rock is an attractive coastal village on the north eastern bank of the River Camel. The famed port town of Padstow sits directly across the river and is easily accessible via a regular ferry service. A variety of watersports are available in Rock, such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as popular restaurants and boutiques. It's easy to see why Rock is so popular, with so many world-class beaches and Cornwall attractions all within a short distance.
