On your doorstep you will also benefit from access to the SW Coastal path, offering far-reaching views across the glistening coast, along with fun-filled days out at Blue Reef Aquarium, and trips upon Sea Safaris & Fishing boats. Newquay Zoo is also a firm favourite, along with the chance to canoe across the resident Boating Lake, whilst those who adore the seaside can relax upon Fistral Beach or visit The Cribbar Surfing Point, favoured by avid surfers. Explore Cornwall with 28 Island Crescent as the ideal base.

The National Surf Centre, three major beaches, eleven beaches totalling more than seven miles of golden sand, and an inexhaustible supply of rolling surf make Newquay the centre of the UK's surf culture and a haven for beachgoers and water sports enthusiasts. The town also guarantees a memorable vacation with its zoo, sea life centre, and diverse assortment of restaurants and pubs. A gorgeous coastline with towering cliffs, secret coves, and additional beaches is traversed in both directions by the South West Coast Path, a popular route for enthusiastic walkers. In addition, Truro, with its museums, church, restaurants, and cobblestone streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be accessed in a short drive.

Parking was tricky with only just enough room for two cars with 8 of us staying we had to find room for two more cars in the side of the road which was not easy. There are a lot of stairs in the property, which was fine for us but would be trickier for older people. The two bottom rooms were very hot and it was difficult to ventilate them as they only had doors which couldn’t be left open overnight. The Hotel/lodge next door had some less considerate guests who were very noisy during the night which affected the people staying in the front part of our house. The house is great for a holiday in Newquay, well equipped and immaculately clean. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family.

So clean and new, carpets all fresh and new. Would definitely book here again. Parking for two big vehicles, tight getting vehicles into the spaces, but plenty of room once you’re in, even an electrical hook up if you needed it, that’s how good the place was. This property is a credit to the owner and Sykes Cottages.
