Wychwood Cottage is located in the main courtyard at Bruern Cottages and has a beautiful elevated terrace which looks down along the Estates picturesque wisteria and apple tunnel. With its traditional furnishings and Cotswolds charm in abundance, this is a great choice for families and couples.

When you walk in from the courtyard, you find yourself in the large, welcoming open-plan kitchen and dining room with its Cotswold fossil stone floor and bespoke Shaker units. It’s a room where you can imagine dinner stretching out very happily into the night and equally well providing the setting for a noisy, lively family lunch.

Double doors lead through to the airy drawing room that is bathed with natural light from the large windows on both sides. At the far end is a golden Cotswold stone fireplace, flanked by bookshelves and a welcome stack of logs for long fire-lit evenings. Sumptuous soft furnishings surround the fire offering plenty of space to stretch out after a long day exploring the Cotswolds.

French doors out onto the terrace and owing to the fall of the land across the garden, you can sit alongside the top of the wisteria and apple arches, picking apples with outstretched hands. It’s a lovely perspective, and there are steps down to ground level if you want to stroll round the gardens.

Stairs lead up to the first floor landing where you will find two well appointed bedrooms each with its own en-suite bathroom or shower room. One is a twin bedded room and the other has a stunning mahogany four poster double bed.

Wychwood Cottage is part of Bruern Cottages and as such, enjoys access to a communal games room, two spa treatment rooms, indoor pool, and gym area. There is a children's playground at the property and there are also rental bicycles available for all too. Standard bicycles are free of charge and E-bikes are £30 per bike, per day. There is an electric car charging point available to use on-site and it is free of charge. Please enquire at the Estate office.

Children must be supervised at all times when using the indoor swimming pool.

A river runs through the estate and leads to a weir that is gated off. Please supervise children at all times.
