The property has all the facilities one could desire set in a quite village location and enjoys easy access to many local points of interest. There was very little to fault. We would mention to the owners that the sink in the master bathroom is slow to drain and the front door is a little sticky to open and close. Neither caused us any inconvenience but they may wish to investigate.

However there were a couple of comments I would make. Ramp up the heating before guests arrive. I would also suggest heated under blankets on all of the beds as the beds felt cold / damp . The top floor was particularly cold. The heated towel rail did not work in the large bathroom in the master bedroom and though a heater was provided it wasn’t enough. Also the cupboard in the master, which is the only hanging space for clothes was so full of bags of laundry it was very difficult to hang anything . Frankly it needs emptying and to be decorated . The kitchen , though fairly well equipped needed a hand towel and oven gloves.
