Great position . 2 bathrooms for two bedrooms and very comfortable too . Lovely period features . I would totally recommend this place. Only negatives were :- 1 . The tv . It only has Apps so you can only watch BBC live . ITV does not work and C4 can not be watched live . 2. Parking is tight so not always possible to park by the cottage . The elderly gentleman at 42 comes out to watch you if you go anywhere near his yellow car ( and tells you he is watching you ) and when I asked the lady at no 40 if she could move her car back a little bit so I could park the car before the final leaving pack. She said â do I know you ?â

I am very disappointed to hear that every evening they sat in coats! The paperwork claims Central heating but from notices in the cottage this is set and not controllable by the holidaymaker. â Heating In Cold Weather, the heating is set to come on morning and Eveningâ Sorry but who decides When its cold!! The same applied to the Hot water, which was barely enough for 1 Bath!! The Wood Burner,,,,,, a long way from the seating areaâ¦â¦ they were only in for a couple of hours at night, if they had lit it, by the time it would have warmed up its time to go to bedâ¦. Then you canât leave it from your instructions! I feel this should be made clearer in the details, especially since you canât boost the heating yourself.

The great thing about it was that is very close to decent pubs which serve good food. There is a small supermarket close by. We loved the walks we could do from there. There is a bus stop about 10 minutes away on the route to Oxford which we found useful. We had a lovely holiday. A week isn't really long enough to do everything in the area. We may go back again.
