This fantastic property enjoys spacious accommodation and is perfect for families, friends, groups and celebrations. This detached house has two bedrooms, one with en-suite, and a family bathroom on the ground floor, and two further bedrooms on the first floor, again one with an en-suite. The large living room is double aspect and enjoys views to the rear of the property that stretch across the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. The kitchen gives direct access to the large enclosed garden with a hidden seating area at the bottom.
The Long House is set within the small hamlet of Middle Aston in Oxfordshire and is only 1 mile away from the busy village of Steeple Aston, where you will find a great pub, post office and shop. Just over 8 miles away is Bicester Village, a must for any shopaholic to spend some money in the many designer outlet shops! Located in the Cherwell Valley area of Oxfordshire, you can enjoy the outdoors by ambling the many footpaths the area has to offer. Blenheim Palace, once home to Winston Churchill, is approximately 8 miles away and enjoys many events throughout the year, including music events, horse trials, Countryfile Live and a beautiful Christmas light show.
Close to the borders of the Cotswolds, you can enjoy driving and stopping at beautiful villages and towns, visiting tea rooms, eating at fabulous country pubs or taking in the scenery this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers. Lovely house, very comfortable has everything you need. Quite garden looking on to 3 sheep. Conveniently placed for lots of fun days out. Would definitely go back. Owner very responsive.

We had the most awful stay at the Long House. I cannot understand the positive reviews on this place.We had no contact for two weeks with the owner apart from when we contacted her when we had no water pressure upstairs, which we had for four days, the keys to the property are left in a key safe outside. We had pneumatic drilling and workmen shouting, coming from the property next door, this lasted a week making it impossible to sit outside, this was during the very hot weather. The sun umbrella was broken, and walking in the garden was like having a workout, extremely steep. There was no walks from the property unless you have a death wish. The property is just before a 60mph speed limit and the exit is very blind making it impossible to see if anything is coming. The roads in the area are very narrow with no passing places, great if you want to write your car off.The cooker looked like it had just come out of a skip, and the sofas looked like they were from a charity shop.We were glad to go home, we would have cut short if it wasn't for the distance we had to travel.I forgot to mention, DO NOT feed the sheep with grass, very unfriendly humans at the bottom of the garden!

We had a lovely stay at The Long House... The countryside views sat in the garden were beautiful... The house was spacious and had pretty much everything from toiletries to kitchen condiments... A great community cafe is just a short stroll and there were some lovely walks close by. A great spot for exploring the Cotswolds
