This is a good place to go if you want peace and quiet. It is small but adequate for two people. Some items could do with updating. Hosts are lovely and very welcoming. We particularly liked the garden and the view out the back.

The owners are amazing, kind and very thoughtful. They made us feel very welcome both verbally and with a super selection of essentials and treats. The dogs were welcomed in the same way with treats and chews. We have 2 vocal dogs that would get excited at the chickens and family members. This was not a problem for them.If you want modern, contemporary ,spotless and minimalist this holiday let is not for you.If you want a stop over at a great location to explore the beautiful south coast with dogs this is a basic no fuss rest place. Both myself and the wife found the bed very soft. This is not a bad thing just preference.Overall we had a lovely holiday.

We had a very warm welcome at Daisy’s Cottage Annex by the owners. The welcome pack was beyond expectations and our Labrador was very pleased with hers. The garden was absolutely dog proof and full of beautiful flowers. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind, so we couldn’t use the garden as much as we would have liked. Also, surprisingly for June, we needed heating, which was in the form of plug in radiators, which heated the rooms up very quickly, so could be turned off after a short while. The local bridle way was ideal for walking our dog. The mobile fish and chip van visits the village on a Friday ( need to order). The food was delicious. Can also recommend the Buddle Inn for meals any day, particularly for a Sunday roast. Dogs welcome there too. Ventnor Botanic Gardens are not too far away and also dog friendly. All in all a lovely stay.
