"The environment is great and the people are very friendly. All kitchenware , plates , cups , cutlery, pots, glasses, water kettle were all dirty. Corners, carpet, entirely filthy. The entry area from the apartement was full of rubbish. On the 5th day flowed water down the bedroom's wall, this explains the smell afterwards."
"Found furniture very uncomfortable, beds mattresses too old and much too soft, no support. Settees ok if didn't sit too long. Tv very small, found it difficult to see had to move it nearer settees for comfortable viewing. No iron or ironing board, no oven gloves."
"Second time staying at the same apartment, fantastic location with a perfect view, would recommend staying here. And I would pay more money to stay here if there was WiFi 😀"
"Had a great week here. Brilliant views out to sea. Flat was comfortable and clean. Would have preferred a dishwasher to a washing machine. Parking difficult. It was great for walking along the coast."
"the apartment was in a fantastic location, the only issue if there was to be one was the bed in the room down the steps, (it was very hard lumpy not very comfortable) other than that we totally enjoyed the place.thanks"
"This is a very nice appartement with a good view on the sea from the balcony. Ty, the careholder, is very friendly and helps as much as he can. The flat is also children-friendly, e.g. it contains a box with toys in it (our little daughter liked that very much). Nonetheless the owner should take care of the heating in the bathroom."
"Very well placed for exploring Ramsgate and the Isle of Thanet area. The flat was pleasant and comfortable with a lovely sea view. The flat is let down by the very scruffy entrance hall which needs redecorating, a good clean and the removal of piles of letters. If you can turn a blind eye to it once you close the door of the flat, all is fine!"
"The appartment was very nice and spacious - 2 bedrooms WOW! - and a neatly furnished kitchen equipped with everything you need. The missing coffee machine in England didn't come as a surprise, so we brought our own. Fantastic seaview and view of the harbour from a very spacious balcony. Superb. Well, the matresses in the bedrooms might need a replacement in the near future. Caretaker Ty, last but not least, was very helpful and kind."
"Gorgeous flat in a great location. The only downside is the inside of the flat building - very grubby but once inside the actual flat it's amazing"
"A lovely comfortable well-equipped flat in a convenient location."

"Nice apartment with a good location. Shame about lack of WI-FI. Would visit again."
"The apartment was everything we wanted. Clean very well appointed, with fantastic views over the sea. Within walking distance from the town and sea front. The caretaker, was very helpful and friendly, carrying all our suitcases up the stairs.Car parking was available on the road adjacent to the apartment. This road was very busy but after a while you did not notice the noise. On a lighter note, there were definitely others sharing the apartment with us. Pictures moved, bathroom cupboard opened a loud thump outside the bathroom door and walking footsteps in the hall. I actually saw a large lady with grey hour and a white dress, walk past our bedroom one night. And no I don,t drink."
"Flat was clean and tidy and Ty the caretaker was extremely helpful and pleasant on arrival. The views from the apartment are fantastic and teh apartment is clean warm and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to navigate. We did find Ramsgate itself a little disappointing but this is no reflection on the flat itself and the view. The surrounding areas are however fantastic and we had several good days out in Canterbury, Howletts Zoe and Whitstable. We did find some very out of date food tins and tea bags in the cupboards, two years in some cases, which we disposed of. It is also worth noting that there is no iron or ironing board at the premises, difficult with little ones and suitcase squashed clothes, and the bathroom could do with a hook or two but the accommodation is otherwise perfect. We did have a skip outside for three days and had to contend with early removals and replacement of the noisy skip and pavement works seem to be taking place all along the road which made having the doors open tricky at times. This was a shame but down to timing and nothing anyone could have done about this.Dont want to give negative impression because this was a lovely holiday and the accommodation was very pleasant but when asking to give review feel appropriate to be honest."
"Excellent vfm but needs WiFi.Good venue "
"It was stunning! The heating situation for this of the year could be optimated. Mr Caretaker did a brilliant job. "
"Lovely clean flat with fantastic views"
"Was a lovely apartment looking out to the sea. clean and comfortable."
"Pleasant place to stay Would recommend "
"Lovely clean flat with wonderful sea views. Very helpful caretaker on arrival. One of the main reasons we booked was of the close proximity of the lift to the beach. Our grandson is disabled and we thought it would make life so much easier. It does not say in Cottages4 You brochure that it is seasonal. We only found this out on arrival and read owners info. The entrance to the flat is shabby and detracts from the flat."
"Nice apartment with good views of the sea but let down by very shabby and smelly communal entrance which was a disgrace. Family in basement kept large reptiles, e.g a python or similar and a salamander or similar. Both of which they took onto the grass area opposite the property. Not pleasant and who knows what other creatures they kept as pets?!Although the apartment itself was ok it was also let down by the general shabbiness of many of the properties in the crescent including this house. TV far too small for size of room.Wi-Fi should have come as standard in this day and age.Could not verify the hygiene of opened groceries left in cupboards so did not use. Balcony was very grubby and bits of paint from guttering kept falling on our heads as we were sitting there. "
"The positives:The apartment itself is very nice. The furnishings and appointments are all good quality and very tastefully done. The view over the harbour and the channel is superb. The caretaker (Tye) was punctual and very helpful. When I texted him to ask where the frypan was (there wasn’t one) he bought a new one and delivered it before the end of the day. The inclusion of a pair of binoculars for viewing the channel etc. was appreciated. There are a lot of board games, toys and books for entertainment which my children enjoyed. My youngest son LOVED the shower. The apartment is quite spacious and light and was generally very pleasant to be in.However, some negative aspects really impacted on our stay. The negatives:The situation with rubbish removal really tarnishes what would otherwise be a nice experience. The are no wheelie bins (anywhere in Ramsgate I suspect) so the many apartments in the block have to use a bag system for rubbish disposal. That is, you take the rubbish from your unit down to the front door where 2 large rubbish bags are kept and you are supposed to put your bag in the large bags. But these bags are often already full so you are forced to place your rubbish on or near them. Which then means the garbage removal service will not take the rubbish away as it is not in the large bags. The end results is that the entrance way was quite disgusting as it piled up with rotting garbage. This might be OK for the residents of Ramsgate who might be used to those arrangements, but as a visitor, I found it repulsive and unacceptable. The caretaker had warned us about it when we arrived and it is not the owners fault as they are at the mercy of the local council, but it is a real blight on the accommodation.Wellington Crescent itself is quite high up from the seafront/beach. There is a lift across and down the road (approx. 100m) to take pedestrians to the seafront but it only works on weekends (no good for us then) so the hike down and up for the beach via the adjacent stairs was a bit annoying. We felt Ramsgate itself was quite run down and shabby. I suspect it was once very nice and it obviously has enormous potential as a holiday destination but it is really looking quite tired. There was not a lot of cooking equipment. By this stage of our holiday we were a bit sick of cooking so mostly eat out, but this could be an issue for people intending to cook every day.Lastly, the parking situation left a lot to be desired. The only parking is on street parking in the surround neighbourhood. Not exactly "Parking Available" as I would have expected it (ie. a dedicated parking spot). You might be lucky enough to grab a parking spot out front of the unit, but it is quite a busy road so more than likely you will have to park some distance away. I deliberately booked accommodation with the aim of avoiding this situation but feel I was misled.Overall – quite a good unit and location but some real issues that impact on overall quality and should probably be reflected in the price."
