Snaptrip says

Pine Cottage is a well-presented property in a peaceful, secluded spot with stunning views, ideal for touring the region. The hot tub is a highlight, and the property offers a modern bathroom and good facilities. However, some guests noted issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Several reviews mention poor cleanliness, including dirty floors, musty towels, and visible cobwebs. There are also reports of stained bedding and hairs on pillows, indicating a need for improvement in this area.

The location is praised for its peacefulness and stunning views. It is considered ideal for touring the region, although the narrow lane and potholes leading to the property are noted.

Mixed feedback on comfort, with some guests finding the property hot and airless, and seating not very comfortable. However, others had a pleasant stay without mentioning any discomfort.

Facilities like the hot tub and modern bathroom are appreciated, but there are several complaints about maintenance issues such as worn bedding, misleading photos, and a lack of privacy. The restricted hot tub hours and tight parking are also mentioned.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owners, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Cameras over hot tub and no lighting in a really dark setting. The list could go on I wouldn’t recommend staying in place.

One couple had no key code and the other had no bedding. Owners contact number would have been better than booking companies as contact was hard out of hours

A lovely peaceful, secluded spot. The lane to the property is very narrow, but provides stunning views. During my stay the wifi was not working at all, which was a problem for me as I'm self employed, so I need to be able to use my laptop. There were no details about the property or local area, which is usual in these type of properties.
