Guests appreciate its cosy atmosphere and ideal location for exploring the Peak District. While some found the furniture and lack of certain facilities less satisfactory, the overall experience is deemed delightful, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and well-maintained, with several reviews highlighting its spotless condition upon arrival. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and enjoyment of their stay.

The location is frequently commended for its beautiful views and proximity to local attractions. However, a few guests noted the presence of road noise and the absence of shops within walking distance, slightly impacting the perfect score.

Many guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, but there are several mentions of uncomfortable sofas and beds. The positive comments about the property's warmth and cosiness are somewhat offset by these concerns.

The cottage is well-regarded for its essential facilities, but some guests were disappointed by the lack of a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and powerful shower. The presence of a secure garden for dogs is a notable positive aspect.

While many reviews express gratitude for the hosts' welcoming and helpful nature, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to score this category.

The most perfect cottage for a relaxing week away. Felt very cosy and homely. Very clean and tidy, couldn’t fault anything. Actually didn’t want to leave, so will be booking to return again shortly. The setting was perfect, and the field for the dogs was an added bonus. Will be back soon Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Very friendly host who did not bother us all week after our first introduction. Without any doubt, if we were to return to this part of the country, again, we would have no hesitation whatsoever in using this very same cottage. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for clean simple accommodation to use as the base. We will definitely rate this property five stars

The field at the back was a real treat for the dogs. I hadn't checked for facilities such as washing machine, dryer etc - I guess we assume that everywhere provides them. No great problem for a short stay though. All in all, a comfortable and restful stay.
