    Woodhead Cottage is a stone built, semi detached cottage, in the grounds of the owner's home in the village of Tintwistle, just two miles from Glossop on the edge of the Peak District National Park. The cottage sleeps two people and has a double bedroom, a wet room with a shower and an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with patio doors. Outside the cottage is an enclosed patio garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, as well as off road parking next to the property. With stunning views from the doorstep and surrounded by some of England's finest countryside, Woodhead Cottage is bound to give you a holiday to remember.
    One double bedroom, accessed by spiral stairs. Ground floor wet room with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area, sitting area, patio doors to garden and wonderful views.
    The village of Tintwistle, 2 miles from Glossop, is skirted on three sides by the Peak District National Park and is renowned for the moorlands of the Dark Peak. Bottoms Reservoir is in the centre of the village, providing the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll. Follow Doctor's Gate Roman road to Kinder Scout and Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, or the Snake Pass to Ladybower and Derwent Reservoirs. The nearby bustling town of Glossop provides plentiful shops, pubs and restaurants and is surrounded by some of the most magnificent Peak District scenery.
    The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Note: The property is accessed via steps from the roadside parking area. Due to the spiral stairs, this cottage is not suitable for children or the less mobile and care must be taken.
