This fully restored 18th century farmhouse adjoins the owner’s home in the beautiful ’White Peak’ limestone country, centrally located in the Peak National Park, near Peak Forest, with fine view across to wooded hills and the striking landscape. The holiday cottage has wealth of exposed beams and stonework and offers an ideal base for the small family and couples alike. Fine walking and mountain biking from the door. Golf and horse riding nearby. Shop 4 miles, dog friendly pub 0.75 miles.

Exactly as discribed, lovely location, everything we had hoped for, if we went back to the area would definitely try and stay there again, lovely and clean, and perfect for us to visit all of the surrounding areas, special thank you to Elaine and David for making us most welcome.

This is a fantastic, well kept cottage, Dave and Elaine are very welcoming and checked everything was okay. The local pub is 5 minutes walk away, very dog friendly, which is important to us with good beer. We didn't get to try the food but it looked good. There are good walks around the cottage with lots of scenic walks within a few miles.We had a great time at Oxlow End Cottage and would definitely return.

Elaine and Dave are very friendly helpful hosts. The cottage was well equipped with all you could need. The cottage is surrounded by fields with a farm next door but the village is in walking distance. The local pub although only open Thursday to Sunday serves good food and the staff are friendly. Chapel-en-le-Frith is close by with a supermarket and Buxton in not too far either
