lovely comfy cottage not too far from local attractions and dog walks from the door, friendly hosts and locals , weather was good as well . Lemon drizzle cake and some eggs from the hosts was a lovely touch, a very good place to stay and would probably stay again in future.

Fabulous thatched cottage in Hale Village. Perfect pet friendly getaway for us. There is a lot to do locally, from the lovely walk to the Lighthouse, gentle strolls to two friendly local pubs, who both do food. Amazing bird life in the garden, with Wrens nesting in the thatch above kitchen door. Shetland ponies next to the garden who were to bothered by our dogs. Close to John Lennon Airport, which was not annoying and we really enjoyed plane spotting and saw two Beluga Airbus which was exciting. Owners very friendly, locals lovely, great cake and free range eggs which we quickly enjoyed. As a fellow cottage owner at Crieff Armoury, we appreciated the care that the owners have invested in their home and would highly recommend and will return.

We've just returned from a 4 night break at this lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean and very cosy with a nice garden area front & back (if we'd had the weather for it!).Quality bedding and very comfortable beds. A cosy, warm cottage oozing with character. Extra touches....lemon drizzle cake & eggs plus a larder with various things for our use. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Liverpool but stay outside the city.
