Harpur Hill is a small village in Derbyshire, between Buxton and Bakewell. The village is in the Peak District National Park and surrounding attractions include the old Solomon's Temple, Chee Dale Nature Reserve, and the famed Buxton Brewery. You can eat at The Parks Inn or get takeout fish and chips at Harpur's Plaice, and shop at Harpur Stores. The historic town of Buxton is just outside the village, while Poole's Cavern & Buxton Country Park offers tours of natural subterranean limestone caves, and the Cavendish Golf Club is a must for golfers. Bakewell, Matlock, Ashbourne, and Sheffield are all nearby.
