The stepping stones of Dovedale on the river Dove with its stunning views of Thorpe Cloud are just minutes away, close by is Carsington Water reservoir, perfect for birdwatching, water sports, walking and cycling around its eight mile perimeter. Visit the Tissington, High Peak and Manifold trails, Chatsworth and the historic town of Bakewell, Alton Towers and National Trust locations of Calke Abbey, Ilam and the Sudbury Museum of childhood are all close by. Enter into the mid 17th century stone built cottage stepping into the bespoke fitted kitchen/diner and feel the warmth radiating from the AGA to give you a wonderful welcome.
