Middle House is a traditional old cottage, nestled in the lovely village of Thorpe surrounded by glorious countryside, with the most gorgeous picturesque front garden to sit in and enjoy your morning brew, watching the world go by. Homely interiors welcome you during your stay here, with nicely decorated rooms, comfortable furnishings and a lovely farmhouse kitchen/diner. This cottage is perfect for a family holiday or for some friends looking to spend some time together and catch up. 

The location of Middle House is great. Admire the view from the village as it drops down into the valley. You’ll be amazed when you visit craggy Dovedale and hop along on the famous stepping stones, or explore Lovers Leap, Jacob’s Ladder or have a stroll on Paradise Walk and witness the vanishing river. Just down the River Dove is the market town of Ashbourne with an array of fantastic shops, cafes and restaurants. A short drive away is the majestic Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell famous for its Pudding and Eyam with its fascinating Plague story. Even Alton Towers is only a 20 minute drive away if you’re a thrill seeker.

General: Linen and towels are provided. Storage, convector heating, WiFi and power are included. 

Pets: 2 x pets welcome. Note - you will need to pay an additional pet fee and you must not leave dogs unattended in the property.
