very roomy and well equiped for a one bedroom cottage, great area for touring. Was cosy once we sorted the heating out (no info pack was available). Staff rsponded quickly to sort out the problem. Great for wildlife and Paxton House tour was excellent, as is the cafe.

Overall a very good stay and great for walking. Given the time of year (early September), it would have been useful to have an alternative form of heating as it was very cold on mornings and late evenings. The fan heater that we found was filthy and well past its best, if indeed it was safe to use? The extensive mould on the bath seal was disconcerting but the hot water was adequate.
