I loved this little property, it was perfect for me and my 2 dogs for a 1 week holiday.The gatehouse is small and nicely furnished, very clean and smells fresh.The kitchen is my only minor complaint. The oven and hob are tired and really need to be replaced. The crockery and cutlery are fine but one or two of the mugs are past their best.The bedroom is comfortable, the pillows however, are very hard and not for me, that is personal preference.The bathroom is clean, the bath and shower are in good condition.The living room is small but comfortable, you won't get an afternoon nap on the couch but it's nice to sit on.Plenty of space outside to park the car and very secure space for the dogs.I really enjoyed my stay, the dogs loved the woodland walks and going around the grounds on the estate, especially visits to the tea rooms.Not far by car to a couple of lovely beaches.

Great comfortable cottage, good location with lovely walks around the estate and excellent food at the Stables Cafe. We highlighted to one of the gardeners who was working nearby that we had noticed a wasp nest in the eaves of the cottage. He returned that evening to deal with the issue, excellent service.
