Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, comfortable beds, and proximity to Northumberland’s attractions, including beaches and castles. The property is described as warm, cosy, and ideal for relaxation, with beautiful views and a lovely garden. While one review noted minor issues with hot water and exterior tidiness, the overwhelming majority of feedback is positive, making this a highly recommended choice for a tranquil getaway.

Multiple guests describe the cottage as spotlessly clean, exceptionally tidy, and the cleanest place they have stayed. Only one review mentioned the exterior could be tidied, but this did not affect the overall impression of cleanliness inside.

The location is frequently praised for its peacefulness, countryside charm, and convenient access to local attractions such as beaches, castles, and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Guests value the tranquil setting and proximity to both nature and amenities.

Reviews consistently mention the cottage as warm, comfortable, cosy, and spacious, with particular praise for the comfortable king-sized bed and relaxing atmosphere.

Guests highlight the cottage as well-equipped and fully stocked, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. One review noted needing to request hot water and suggested some exterior maintenance, but these were isolated comments.

Several guests mention friendly, helpful hosts and a welcome pack on arrival. While these thoughtful touches are appreciated, please note that gifts such as welcome packs are not guaranteed for every stay.

A cosy, peaceful stay in the Northumberland countryside.Welcoming host, cottage had all we needed and the outlook was pretty and serene. Just what we had wished for.Located about 2 miles from the nearest village of Lowick and not far to drive to links north and south via the A1. Easy to reach all the highlights of the area such as Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses, Amble, Berwick, Alnwick and several National Trust properties.Would recommend.

A beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. We enjoyed walks in the forest and visits to the coast. The cottage is warm, comfortable and well-equipped. The garden was beautiful and we loved identifying all the birds. A perfect place for relaxing.
