Just a mile inside the Scottish border, surrounded by magnificent countryside, and 6½ miles from Kelso, the joined villages of Kirk Yetholm and Town Yetholm are at the end of the Pennine Way. Forming part of the owner’s mill house, with its own private patio, it provides a delightful base from which to explore the Borders and Northumberland. Historic Kelso at the confluence of the Tweed and Teviot rivers dates from the 12th century and has an excellent range of shops and restaurants with festivals and activities throughout the year. The Borders is a land of beautiful landscapes offering outstanding facilities for cycling, hill walking, driving, bird watching, fishing, horse riding and golf. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

Very comfy and warm and clean. A very friendly place. Windows small so no great views until you go outside. Bath and shower magnificent. Cooking facilities challenging for anything more than ready meals. Controls on hob almost invisible. A third saucepan and a couple of mixing bowls that would go in the microwave would have been useful.

We had a fantastic stay at this stunning self-catering apartment in Kirk Yetholm. The place was spotlessly clean and incredibly luxuriously comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy furnishings that made relaxing after a day out an absolute pleasure. Little details like the candle near the bath we had to go purchase bubble bath!The location is peaceful and picturesque, perfect for exploring the Scottish Borders and nearby walking routes. My wife had a fall before we left home so we were unable to do any walking, but our hosts were welcoming and thoughtful, and advised places to visit, especially for our love of a good Coffee or Milkshake. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and comfy base in this beautiful part of the country!
