Guests praise its excellent location, warmth, and convenience, with many highlighting the peaceful atmosphere and attractive exterior. While most found the property clean and inviting, a few noted areas for improvement in cleanliness and maintenance, such as pillows and bathroom layout. Overall, the cottage provides a relaxing and enjoyable stay, ideal for those seeking tranquillity and easy access to local sights.

Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, but several mentioned issues such as ingrained dirt, dusty surfaces, and the need for deeper cleaning in some areas, particularly the bathroom and bedroom.

The location is highly praised, with guests loving its central position in the village, proximity to amenities, and beautiful views, making it an ideal base for exploring Holy Island.

The cottage is generally described as comfortable and cosy, especially in colder months. Some guests mentioned flat pillows and less comfortable single beds, but overall comfort levels were high.

Facilities are considered good, with a well-equipped kitchen, books, games, and DVDs. Some guests noted maintenance issues such as a leaking kettle, soft mattress, and awkward bathroom layout, but these did not detract significantly from their stay.

This accommodation is in a lovely setting, but a shame it hasn’t been presented better. It feels as though everything is cheap & basic - duvets, thin cutlery, door frames not painted properly. The sofas are nice though. The main issue is the noise from the upstairs apartment - the floorboards are all very squeaky so we heard every footstep.
