Northumberland is steeped in history with many imposing castles to explore including Alnwick Castle made famous by the Harry Potter movies and the striking Bamburgh Castle built high on a rocky outcrop. The quiet lanes are perfect for cyclists and walkers to soak up the stunning landscapes and perhaps catch a glimpse of the remarkable array of wildlife including red squirrels, roe deer, wild goats, otters and black grouse.

Master bedroom: Super king size bed, bedside drawers with lamps, a wardrobe, dressing table and a wall mounted flat screen TV.
Ensuite: Shower, WC, washbasin
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, vanity console, dressing table, bedside tables and lamps.
Family bathroom: Bath, washbasin and WC
Entertainment: flat screen TVs (living room and master bedroom), Smart TV in living room with Netflix. BOSE speakers. Multi device charger. Telephone. iPod dock. CD player. Range of games, toys, books and DVDs.
For families: Cots, highchairs available upon request (please note, we do not supply a mattress or bed linen for the cot).
Outside: Shared decked area to the front of the property with outdoor furniture and a barbeque. In addition to shared tennis court, hot tub and children's play area.
Parking: Available at the property.
General: WiFi. bed linen and towels provided. Central heating. A wood burning stove with supply of logs.

Fabulous converted barn with all mod cons . The kitchen was small but very well fitted out . Log burning stove with added bonus of having a log store outside . Fabulous conservatory looking out at open fields , hot tub and Perspex pods . The hot tub was amazing and we got plenty of use out of it , even in cold wet early March ! The bed was very comfortable and the welcome pack was lovely with some really useful and delicious products , including a voucher for a pound of Bamburgh sausages ! Location was just a few minutes drive to Bamburgh castle and beach .

We enjoyed a short stay at Haybarn in November.It was cosy and warm, but also very spacious and would easily accommodate the 8 people it is set up for. The kitchen is well equipped for a large party.The two beautiful ensuites and another bathroom were just spoiling us and together with such comfortable beds in the stylish bedrooms, will entice us to return as soon as we can!
