Park off-road and be welcomed into this lovely property, where a homely sitting/dining area sports a selection of sofas, a TV and a dining table where you can enjoy a heart-warming meal prepared in the amply fitted kitchen. Freshen up in the bathroom before settling down for the night in one of the two bedrooms, a double with French windows accessing the garden and plenty of storage and a twin with blue décor. Bamburgh is a fantastic coastal town with a selection of eateries and a deli, where you can sample local produce and stock up on essentials. Bamburgh is part of an extensive seaside walk, and there is also a wonderful sandy beach for you to enjoy, as well as the impressive Bamburgh Castle. Further from the property you will be able to find the impressive Holy Island with its well-known historic sites, countryside walks, beach and local shops and eateries. Explore the heritage of Northumberland with a stay at Glebe Cottage.
The village’s sweeping sandy beaches and dramatic fortress - Bamburgh Castle - make Bamburgh one of Northumberland’s major visitor attractions. The castle can be seen for miles and dominates this part of the county’s coastline. Today it remains home to the family of the great Victorian industrialist Lord Armstrong, and is open to the public on a daily basis. Although overshadowed by the great castle, Bamburgh village is picturesque with neat grey stone cottages facing a manicured village green. There are excellent pubs, hotels with restaurants and a small selection of village shops. There are golf courses in Bamburgh and nearby Seahouses, and within easy reach are more wide sandy beaches, lovely fishing villages, stunning castles and coastal islands to explore along the dramatic Heritage Coast. There are numerous other attractions also a short drive away, including the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the historic walled border town, Berwick-upon-Tweed. A superb base for exploring Northumberland.

The owners live next door and were very welcoming. I can particularly recommend the little patio outside the main bedroom for a morning coffee in the sunshine, with lovely views.
