While some reviews mention areas for improvement, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Cleanliness is generally satisfactory, with several guests finding the property spotless upon arrival. However, a few reviews mention the need for a deeper clean, particularly in the fridge and bathroom areas, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to local pubs, shops, and famous Northumberland attractions. Its central position for exploring the coast and countryside is a highlight for many visitors.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and generous welcome packs. However, some guests report maintenance issues such as non-working lights, electrical problems, and the need for redecoration, which affects the score.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating the welcome packs provided. While these gifts are warmly received, it is noted that such offerings are subject to change and not guaranteed.

About this property

Sympathetically converted to a particularly high standard, this property offers a spacious open-plan living area with woodburner, three lovely bedrooms, two with open roof trusses, and a lovely garden parlour room leading to a secluded rear garden. The Coach House is ideally located for all that this impressive holiday destination has to offer. Clean, comfortable and cosy, especially as we travelled up during storm Darragh whichade the journey interesting!! Lovely welcome pack too! The location is great for long beach walks with my dog, Yogi, and the kitchen fully equipped for some pre Christmas indulgent cooking, which the local birds also did well out of!! The cottage would perhaps benefit from a lick of paint and the replacement of a few soft furnishings, but wouldn't we all!! Many thanks for another great holiday, Sarah, Mark and Yogi

There was a lovely welcome pack and everything was as expected. Lowick is the perfect location for exploring this area of Northumberland. Coach House is just a short stroll away from the Black Bull Inn which serves a great breakfast and evening meals. Would definitely stay here again.

Fridge was dirty on arrival.Bathroom upstairs was not clean especially in the corners. We have never had problems with other properties and we regularly take breaks. We will not be returning.
