Golfers can enjoy an array of local courses including the renowned course at Slaley Hall, and fisherman will be delighted with the nearby Waskerley and Derwent Reservoirs. Visit the nearby medieval village of Blanchland, explore the World Heritage site of Hadrian s Wall or travel a little further afield and visit the historic towns of Hexham, Corbridge or the stunning heritage coastline. There is also an abundance of wildlife and birds that visit the garden, such as barn owls, little owls, short/long eared owls, red kite and woodpeckers.
