Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, the well-equipped space, and the thoughtful touches like welcome packs. While some minor issues with facilities and maintenance are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The cottage is consistently described as clean and spotless, with many guests highlighting its cleanliness. Only one mention of a vacuum cleaner not working suggests a minor issue, but this does not detract significantly from the overall high standards maintained.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and proximity to walks and nature. It is described as quiet, with stunning views and a good base for exploring the area. The only drawback mentioned is the proximity to neighbours, which affected one guest's privacy.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of a comfy bed and a cosy atmosphere. However, a few guests noted issues with the sofa comfort and the warmth of the cottage, which suggests room for improvement in this category.
Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and welcome additions like a wood burner. However, several guests noted a lack of cleaning supplies and issues with a radiator and vacuum cleaner, indicating some maintenance concerns.
The presence of welcome packs, including food gifts and flowers, is frequently appreciated by guests, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gifts, while often provided, are a courtesy and not guaranteed with every stay.
