A lovely clean cottage with a great layout for two couples. The location is excellent, in a very quiet hamlet that links to the riverside walk into Durham. The garden is lovely. Parking place was right next to the cottage. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

The cottage had everything we could have needed, especially the well equipped kitchen. The walk along the river into Durham was very convenient and being within walking distance to the supermarket and the local pub was a major bonus. A fantastic place to be based to explore the city.
