The village of Blakeney is charming and picturesque in its traditional simplicity. Set on the North Norfolk coast all streets lead down to the quay and salt marshes which this part of the North Norfolk coast is renowned for. Its wide open spaces and uninterrupted views of the natural and dynamic coastline make this area popular with visitors who enjoy watching and observing all kinds of wildlife. The tidal flows ensure that there is always something to catch your interest and Norfolk's big skies guarantee ever changing scenery. Blakeney Point, is a three mile long sand and shingle spit and is a great place to observe the seals on the boat trip. Holt is the nearest large town and is one of Norfolk's gems with its diverse range of individual shops, restaurants and art galleries.
