Less than a mile from the sea and all the many activities offered in Hunstanton, yet tucked away in a quiet spot, you will really feel that you have escaped from all the stresses and strains of daily life. Stylishly decorated and furnished, The Pump House offers everything needed for a romantic escape but, if you can tear yourself away, you’ll find a coastline scattered with unspoilt beaches, pretty villages and great places to potter, shop and eat. City lovers can explore the Hanseatic port of old, Kings Lynn, or the medieval city of Norwich, while those seeking a quieter pace can enjoy Wells-next-the-Sea, with its narrow gauge railway that takes you to the beach and its quaint mix of artisan and traditional shops and cafés. A very pleasant holiday. Easy walking distance to beach and hunstanton. Easy access to other attractions e g. RSPB nature reserve at Holme next the sea. The facilities in the house were top notch and very comfortable. The owners made us welcome but not intrusive. Only one minor comment that the TV is a bit too high on the wall. I would definitely return again as have many of the previous customers

Our third time at The Pump House, such a lovely setting, peaceful and great for watching the wildlife. Nicely situated within walking distance of beach and central for driving to other places. Comfortable, cosy and clean accommodation and very well equipped, loved our stay and hopefully will visit again.

Lovely accommodation - brilliant mattress, shower, and comfortable amenity with everything we might need thought of. We even pretty much got used to the accommodation being across three floors… pretty much. Old Hunstanton was a great base - with a pub, post office/general store, and couple of restaurants all in easy walking distance. The beach was a delight, and only a few minutes drive (or highly recommend: hop on the Coastal 36 bus line all the way to Wells) to many different beaches and villages. Our highlights: PYO at Droves Orchards, RSPB Titchwell beach, Lynn architecture around the church, the village churches everywhere, seals at Brancaster beach, a lovely dinner at Caley Restaurant at the end of the road, and watching the deer from the breakfast table.
