About this property

Located in the heart of Kendal, a market town in Cumbria is Allhallows, a charming, converted church, inviting four guests to the Lake District. Enjoying a prime position near a host of amenities and attractions, whilst a short car journey from Lake Windermere and its delights, Allhallows perfectly blends character with style, spanning over four floors of accommodation.

Benefit from a permit parking space, before travelling through the front garden and into the open-plan living space, where you can relax as the chef of your party makes use of the state-of-the-art appliances on offer; dine as a family or head outdoors if you'd prefer an alfresco setting. Climb the stairs, enveloped by original stained glass windows, and reach the sitting room, featuring plush seating, a Smart TV, and quirky artwork, where you can spend your evenings socialising and planning your upcoming days.

When sleep calls, locate three inviting bedrooms, starting off with a single on the first floor.

Climb the stairs to the second floor to locate the double bedroom, next to the family bathroom, whilst the third floor houses the final bedroom, a single; please be aware that a steep, paddle staircase is used to access this bedroom.

Awaken to a refresh in the ground-floor shower room, also home to a washer/dryer, perfect for refreshing your holiday clothes, before venturing into Kendal to stock up on the essentials and to dine out; popular options include Farmhouse Kitchen Café, Comida [food], and The Garden Cafe & Take Away.

Within the town you'll also arrive at Kendal Museum, perfect for brushing up on your local knowledge, Kendal Golf Club for avid golfers, and the stunning landscape of Miller Bridge, encompassing River Kent.

Travel to Windermere and arrive to a host of activities, with the chance to hike up to Queen Adelaide's Hill, discover The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, stroll around Holehird Gardens, or visit the Brockhole on Windermere, The Lake District Visitor Centre, where you can try your hand at kayaking, archery, or a hire a boat across the Lake. Round off your trip by travelling north to Ambleside, reaching Stock Ghyll Force, Borrans Park, and Rydal Cave, all displaying nature-filled terrains, whilst the Wordsworth Grasmere Museum is worth a visit if you're a literature fan.

Escape to Cumbria at Allhallows.

Kendal, a charming market town that is renowned as the Southern Gateway to the Lakes, is located on the banks of the River Kent and has a distinguished reputation for shopping. The charming main street is surrounded by charming old cobblestone roads and byways, and the stone ruins of Kendal Castle, which date back to the 12th century, are positioned atop a hill with views of the town. Visit The Abbot Hall Art Gallery, which hosts additional exhibitions thanks to its connections with the Tate and a regular collection that includes portraits by George Romney, a Kendal native, and works by Turner and Ruskin.
