We’ve just returned from the most wonderful stay at Mary Rook Cottage, and we’re already planning our next visit. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. John was absolutely lovely, warm and welcoming. It was clear how much care and pride he (and his partner and lovely Mam!) put into making the cottage such a special place. The cottage itself is beautifully kept, spotlessly clean, cozy, and full of charm. Every little detail has been thought of, and you can really feel the heart that’s gone into it. The views were absolutely breathtaking, waking up to those rolling mountains (Skiddaw) and peaceful surroundings was something we’ll never forget. And of course, we can’t forget Coco the dachshund! Such a sweet little character who made us smile and gave wonderful cuddles.Thank you for a truly memorable stay. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll definitely be back!
