It sits at the foot of one of Lakelands most popular fells, Catbells, close to the shores of Derwentwater, with magnificent views over the Newlands Valley to Causey Pike and Barrow. You will be spoiled for choice with the walking opportunities on the Western fells of Derwentwater, or you can catch the launch across the Lake to Keswick to walk the fells on the Eastern shore. The Swinside Inn which serves bar meals is within walking distance and you will find a wealth of amenities in Keswick, three miles.

Fantastic location, with great walks for all abilities from property Sofas definitely replacing as very low and uncomfortable.Thick greasy grill pan had been left in the oven, and had to empty full dishwasher on arrival otherwise everything great.

Beautiful cottage and incredible views location was great with lots of walks straight from cottage Could of been a bit cleaner and all of bed mattresses sofas and tv need updating if done this place would be 5*Would def stay here again
