Ideally located for those who wish to enjoy the delights of Keswick without having to move their car from the allocated private parking space. Set back from the main street in a courtyard setting these apartments have been constructed to provide comfortable accommodation for those who would like to be in the ’heart’ of this popular market town but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The property includes double glazing windows to keep noise at bay. There are wood furnishings in both bedrooms. This property has everything you need to make the most of your holiday. Lake Derwentwater is a mere ten minute stroll and Keswick Leisure Pool and park are close at hand, where you can enjoy swimming, tennis, bowls and mini-golf. Ashbrooke was mainly as expected; comfortable; functional; clean. The shower/bath has hot water, but could do with more power, as is often the case. It has both dishwasher and washing machine. However it only had a single tiny saucepan, which you would not have been able to cook more than a single portion of pasta or rice in. It was also missing its parking disk.

Excellent location if you are looking for somewhere central- parking on site - the flat is quite basic but comfortable and you don’t get much of a view but that was expected in that location. We would definitely stay there again.
